in the early 1960’s.
-
This concept became
the basis of the Harpoon system currently fitted to the Anglo -
French Lynx.
-
The first direct contract
for FHL was the fitting of Decklocks™ to a fleet of 26 Westland
Sea Kings for the Indian Navy in 1984.
-
Forty years of experience
now amassed.
-
On landing, the actuator
extends down below the Helicopter, locks on and holds the Helicopter
down on to the deck.
-
The Helicopter is held
until take off.
-
The size and weight of the Helicopter
are taken into account when designing the Decklock.
